The Greatest Moment in Your Life (Last)

G1

At 06.00 o’clock, I went to school. I did not want to be driven and picked up by my father. I wished to go along with Tatas again. The first trial was failed. Then I tried to go to school at 06.10 a.m. Tatas had not been in front of Riswan Street, but I saw him walked there. So the next day, I left my home at around 06.15 a.m., because I suspected that he’d be there. And yap! Exactly he was there!  In front of Riswan Street and had been waiting for G1. Finally, we were in the same bus again. After that, I did it every day.
In the other hand, I waited him after school too. He was always waiting G1 in the East side far from our school in order to get G1 ahead than the other. Then I waited G1 in a place that was not far from him. So I could make sure whether he entered the bus or not. If he entered, I would do so. If he did not, I did not too. Hahaha… what a stupid girl I was!
Even so, I just was a senior to him. No more, no less. 1000 times we were in the same G1, it would not change anything. I could not talk with him as peers. Just gave a smile and greeting.
ššœœ
First semester of third grade was started. I could not go to school and back to my home with him again. He went to school by bicycle. It made us rarely meet. News about me who liked him was spreading away, even he heard it too. And when I heard the news about him who liked Sari, his classmate, it makes rainy fall deep in my heart.
More rarely seen, more I miss him. However, when I met him, his behavior had changed. His smile and friendly greeting had disappeared. His gang had changed too. Tatas became a little rascal. His innocent and his calmness faded away. As time went by, I heard more about his bad attitude. He started to smoke; always did some game online in Jagos after school; and sometimes he went to school lately. I did not know whether it was true or not. I tried to ask some of his friends from his class, but they also did not know because he was a quiet person. I was worried because his new friend who closed to him was well-known as a bad boy. So it’s possible that Tatas was affected.
Unfortunately, I did not have much time to think about it because I must focus for National Exams and School Exams. However, I remained being his secret admirer. See him for a while would give me a little encouragement. Never did I give up. I looked for an idea; how to meet and greet him again as before. I hope he could give me the jovial greeting.
One morning, I sat near the door of my classroom, 9A. I kept looking at my phone and the bicycle park area. At 06.50, Tatas finally arrived. He parked his bike and went to his classroom on the second floor. He chose the stairs next to 9A because it was the closest way to go to 8A, his classroom. Surely he saw me but he seemed indifferent.
Until a few days later, he often arrived around 06.50 a.m. So I left my house around 06.40 a.m. if I went with my father or 06.20 a.m. if I used G1. So, that my hypothesis was right. We arrived at the same time. But nothing happened. Then I did it again next morning. Again and again. However, there was no jovial greeting from him. He seems to avoid me.
After school, I did not meet him too. When the bell rang, he directly went to Jagos. Almost every day after school he played a game online in there. I was sure about it because when I passed the place, I saw his blue bicycle parked in front of it.
Some months were passed. Unconsciously, leaving at 06.40 a.m. became my habit. I did not expect anything anymore from him or about him. One day, I came along the school gate then I passed the bicycle park area. His bicycle did not there. It means that he did not arrived yet. I walked to my class slowly. Then someone walked behind me. I did not realize yet. Then he walked beside me and said hi to me with smile that I really miss. It was him! Tatas.
“Eh, hi,” I replied with surprise. “Where is your bicycle?”
“I don’t use my bicycle to get here today,”Tatas simply answered. “I have to go first. Bye.”
“O.k. bye,” I said with smile. Just one minute. No, less than it. I was happy, very happy, even just less than one minute we talked.
Some days later, we met in the canteen. At that time, it was very crowded. There was a boy behind me, very close to me. When he tried to get a snack with his right-arm, his chest touched my left shoulder. I, who was tried to get a snack too, startled and said, “Ouch.” Then I looked to the right. His face and my face were very close. We were facing each other eye to eye. It seemed I would be fainting at that time.
“Are you o.k.?” he asked smoothly. I did not answer him yet. My thought was flying far away from the real world. Until he made me awake with his voice, ”Hei!”
“Em, yeah, I… I’m o.k.,” I said nervously. I could feel my face became warm and surely turning red. I won’t to be seen so weird in front of him. So I left first.
“I have to go, bye.”
And he just nodded and gave me a smile.
“When did he become taller than me? When did his voice more basses? Has he become mature?” I thought.
I did not know what’s going on. And I did not care. I thought he was not avoiding me anymore. Since the second semester, he never used his bicycle again. But third grade’s students had to take a part of additional lesson until 4 p.m. except Friday and Saturday. So, I could go home with him at these days, if I was in a good luck. And yap! It was my good luck enough because we were often in the same G1. Even sometimes when his friend made a joke, we were laughing together.
Then I was graduated. The party of school graduation was held in BPD’s Hall. Actually I forgot about this place in detail. Until the last show, I did not meet him. Even, until I was a high school’s student. I wanted to stay in junior high school with him. However, life must go on. Would I forget him because life must go on? No!
Firstly, I thought I could not meet him again. But when I saw a public transport, I realize that I could. The next day after school, I decided to go home alone, ride G1. Because there’s no G1 which across my school, so I walked to the place I waited for G1 when I was junior high school’s student. The distance from my high school to my junior high school is just for about around 15 minutes. I was late. The school was quiet. I guessed he had gone. But I did not give up. I walked to there again faster than before. Succeed.
I did it many times but I could not get a chance to talk with him or greeted him. He was always with his friends. Until one evening, I walked slowly to go to the place. I knew that he and all of third grade’s students had to follow additional lessons, so they left the school around 4 p.m. I did not want he know I was waiting for him, so I always ask Ovi to meet me. Actually, she’s my close-friend and I treated her as my sister. She’s Tatas’ friend too.
My guesstimate of time was right. He came out from the school and went to his waiting place as usual with his friends. He smiled to me and I encouraged myself and asked, “Hei Tas, does Ovi have go out from her class?”
Then he replied, “Emm, I think she does not out yet. Just waiting.”
“Oh, thanks,” I said and he walked again. Then Ovi came. She told about her story and her mind as usual. I never bored talk with her. Almost a half of hour, finally G1 with few passengers came. But there was something strange. Tatas did not enter the bus. After the bus gone, he looked at me from the distance.
“What are you looking for? Do you want me to enter that bus or you want not?” I thought. But I decided not to enter. The next G1 came. There was just me, a driver, two passengers, and Tatas. I sat in front of him.
“I was waiting a long time to get this moment. I have to take this chance! I can! Yes, I can do it,” I said to myself in my heart.
“Hei Tas, I heard that there was a try out several days ago. How about your result?”
“Just bad.”
“Really? But it still around seven, right?”
“Yeah, seven point one. Emm, How many minimal score that I must have to be approved in your school?” asked him.
“I think, around eight.”
Tatas seems not sure to be approved, so I tried to cheer him up.
“Why are you look sad? Don’t mind about your score in try out. I believe you can do better. Just study hard and pray a lot.”
“Yeah, you’re right.”
“But, are you want to become a High School 2 of Purwokerto’s student?”
“Insya Allah.”
“Wow, good luck. You will become my junior again.”
“If only I was approved.”
“Hey, don’t be a pessimist, boy!” I said. “How about the High School 1 of Purwokerto? It’s greater than my school.”
“No, I won’t.”
“Why? Your sister studies at that school, doesn’t she?”
“Yes, but it seems that the school fee is expensive. Luxurious and expensive.”
“Haha… That’s why I never chose the school as my target when I was junior high school.”
We were talk during the way back home. I did not realize that all the passengers had gone, except us. Then finally, time to said goodbye. He stopped the bus.
“O.K. I have to left first. Bye.”
“Yap, good bye and be careful.” He nodded and went into Riswan Street.
ššœœ
I really thanks to God, although we never meet again until now. I was joined in some organization and I was busier than before. I never see him again. I just can hear about him from Ovi, because he and Ovi are a High School 5 of Purwokerto’s students. Since the last meeting with him, and since he became a high school’s student, we had our own ways. He had a girlfriend, I had a boyfriend. I had a new story without him, so did he.
However, when someone is talking about him or mentioning his name, my heart such a deep startled. All of memories in my mind are flowing out freely. The description of those memories has seen in front of my eyes if I remember about him. It’s just a little of our story. There is another moment that very memorable.
Maybe these story just an ordinary story which can happen to whoever. Maybe this story doesn’t really have any meaning and deep moral message. But it’s my greatest moment with someone whom I first liked.

The Greatest Moment in Your Life (1)

G1

Gatra K N. Never do I forget him, a cute boy with a girl name. :)
First time I met him when I was a second grade of junior high school and he was a first grade of junior high school. At that time, we did our mid-test. Each class was involved two grades; first grade with second grade, second grade with third grade, and third grade with first grade. He sat in forth row and I sat in third row near the door. I did not know him yet. When the bell rang, all of students went out from the class except Arum and I. I talked with her as usual; discuss about the test we had already done. A few minute later, he came in to the class. Arum, who knew him already, tried to tease him. Because of my curious, I asked Arum, “Why you tease him like that?”
“Hahaha, it is because his name is weird. Ga-tra,” Arum replied.
“Gatra? Is your name Gatra?” I asked him to be sure.
“Yes,” he said slightly embarrassed smile. Maybe it is because of my grade that upper than him.
“Gatra means row in Javanese poetry, isn’t it?”
“Haha, you’re right. It is weird, right? And the most weird thing is his nickname. Tatas,” Arum added.
“How come?” I asked, but Arum just shakes the shoulders. Then he just smiled and the bell rang again. It showed that the second test would be started. So, I returned to my desk.
ššœœ
That was the beginning I knew him. Who would have thought that he made my day full of memories during my junior high school which I cannot forget. He made me do silly things I’ve never done before.
ššœœ
A few days after the end of the mid-test, he asked my name through Arum. Then she told me about it exaggeratedly and she began teasing me.
“Ehem,  I think Tatas likes you. Hahaha…”
I did not care enough because I knew her just kidding. Instead, I calmly left the greeting to him through Arum if she met Tatas again. Then Arum more and more delighted to tease me. And at last, some of my friends joined to tease me too. So, if we were meet with him, one of them would said “Ihiiy…”, “Ciee..”, or “Ehem…”
Consciously or not, I became more concerned on him because almost every day my friends talked about him. Something strange began to emerge in my heart when I did not see him and remembered him. His face, his smile, his voice, and his act graved in my mind. I admired him and become his secret admirer.
Since I declared myself as his secret admirer, I met him everywhere, such as in front of the school, the class, the teachers room, the hall, the canteen, or on the stairs. Even I met him in a place I used to wait for G1. Is this a sign?
Unfortunately, I did not dare to do anything in every meeting. I just looked down or pretended not to see him. Once we had eye to eye, I just could smile for a while. I tried to be calm and cool girl since I had this feeling.
One day, I was waiting for G1, a public transport like a bus with orange colour, in front of our school, at the east corner. By the way when I am still waiting, suddenly Tatas was passed in front of me with his friends.
“Subhanallah, what a calm boy he is,” I said in my heart. Then he smiled to me. Actually, I was surprised, but I replied with my best smile I have. The first time my heart was beating because of someone. My face became slightly flushed like a tomato. I did not aware that my friends was noticed my act. Because I was cornered, I finally told them while we were waiting for the bus that was not overcrowded.
First G1, then the second, third and so on, I let them past. I was still waiting faithfully. Finally, from a distance I saw the public transport which was not crowded. I intend to ride but I was surprised because the bus stopped in front of Tatas and he entered into the bus. My heart was beating again although I did not convinced yet that the one who entered was him.
“He is in the bus, he is in the bus, he is in the bus,…” I murmured in my heart until I stopped and entered the bus then sat down. Ah, that’s true. He sat in the left-corner and we were eye to eye again. I smiled, he smiled too.
15 minutes pass. He stopped the bus and went out from the bus at Gang Riswan then he walked into the street. Surprised again. The fact showed that our village is near each other. And I jogging around there frequently every Sunday morning. 5 minutes later, I stopped the G1 at Mount Semeru Street. I have to walk 5 minutes to get home from the street. While I walked to my home, I got an idea. ...

Menemukan satu file cerpen yang dibuat waktu SMA.. tepatnya tugas untuk buat cerpen sih..

HARAPAN

Luna seorang gadis SMA biasa.
“Benarkah?”
“Iya. Sebut saja tiga permohonanmu,” kata Peri Flimsy.
“Aku… aku ingin kembali ke masa lalu,” pinta Luna sambil tersedu-sedu.
“Baiklah, sekarang pejamkan matamu.” Luna memejamkan matanya dan beberapa detik kemudian terdengar bel pulang sekolah. Luna pun membuka matanya. Dia terkejut permohonannya benar-benar dikabulkan. Kemudian Luna bergegas menemui Titan.
“Mengapa? Mengapa tidak bisa? Bukankah kau bisa mengabulkan semua permohonanku?” kata Luna sambil menangis. “Pasti kau bohong! Kau bukan peri! Kau hanya mempermainkan aku!”
Peri Flimsy hanya tersenyum lembut dan berkata, ”Satu permohonan lagi. Pikirkanlah apa sebenarnya yang kau inginkan.”
“Aku hanya ingin memperbaiki semua kesalahanku,” jawab Luna dengan lemas dan pasrah sambil menutup mata.
“Dikabulkan!” kata peri itu.
“Luna! Luna! Bangun, sayang!”
“Benarkah?” kata Luna sambil tersenyum senang. “Berarti kamu lebih bodoh lagi karena menyukai gadis bodoh sepertiku!” Mereka tertawa bersama. Di dalam hati, Luna berkata, “Meskipun peri itu hanya ada di mimpi, tetapi aku merasa bahwa itu telah menjadi nyata. Permohonanku yang terakhir telah dikabulkan.”
